Seasons

The Summer Season is generally used to get new players exposed to High School Hockey and the level of competition. The season is comprised of 10 games and a couple of practices to kick off the season which runs generally April to beginning of August.

The Fall Regular Season starts with tryouts in July or early August, team formation and practices in August and then a league leveling tournament to make sure teams are grouped with equally talented/competitive teams. The season begins in September then runs to February with teams playing a 20-game season. Practices are generally 1-2 times a week. At the end of the season there are playoffs for teams that qualify to become City Champions.

In addition, for the Varsity team there is a State Wide High School Tournament that determines the Texas High School representative team to play in the USA Hockey National High School Championships.
